Payroll & Compliance Manager

GGA Roofing is a growing construction company seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage our payroll operations and maintain critical business compliance. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing essential business documentation and licenses, and handling all employee-related administrative functions while maintaining strict attention to detail and compliance requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll including data validation, adjustments, and report preparation
• Maintain accurate employee records and process documentation for new hires and departures
• Handle all benefits administration, including enrollment processing and changes
• Manage accounts receivable collections and deposit reconciliation
• Keep company licenses, permits, bonds, and certifications current
• Process and track insurance certificates, workers compensation, and annual true-ups
• Handle wage garnishments and unemployment claim responses
• Coordinate basic facilities needs (lease management, maintenance requests)

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
• Strong background in maintaining business compliance documentation
• Experience with construction industry documentation preferred
• Proven track record of accurate data entry and report preparation
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite
